Once a while even blogger need to take a long vacation. Well, Chinese New Year this year happen to fall on Monday and Tuesday, thus many peoples would treat this as a long holiday. These are the few items or things you need to do before you go for a long vacation.
Have you pre-schedule you post during your long vacation?
If you had build a steady readership and they already expect to read your post everyday then during the holiday had you pre-schedule all your post? If not you should had done it yesterday.
Have you set your email to vacation mode, just in case you reader e-mail you.
Since you will not answering any e-mail don’t forget to set your email to vacation mode. When people happen to e-mail you, they will get notify that you’re on vacation.
Have you invite some one or a friend to fill-up your blog while you on vacation?
It’s maybe the best time to get your friend or a guess post writer for your blog while you on vacation. Have you don’t that? It should have been done yesterday.
Have you paid you hosting bill?
I save this for last because if you already done all of the above the only one that can spoil your vacation will be a suspended account screen when people go to you blog.
Well I think that 4 things or items enough to get your busy. Feel free to add some more.

Thank you for the tips. One more tip from me. Heve you check your bank account ?
kabon´s last blog post..Tricks in Busby SEO Test Contest
@kabon, yes, good one. I normally check my bank balances a few days before I went to my vacation. I also check my debit card too since I don’t use credit card.
I usually spend holidays with his family in the sea and to finance my company, which is very good for me. But I have to work on my laptop while I’m on vacation so that is my e-mail is always active.
I guess its easy to make these plans if you’re self employed and have a blog for auto income during absence. Any tips for those aren’t self employed and are at the mercy of their boss?
Most companies don’t give you more than 2 days per month paid leave which means you can get maximum 24 days off at the end of the year if you conserve all those leaves. So those long 2 or 3 month holidays are out of question. Unpaid vacation is an option but you know internal politics work. You can come back broke from your vacation and find you no longer have your job.
