I have read many reason why you should upgrade to WordPress 2.7 but I found this article by Ben Moreno, 6 Reasons to Upgrade to WordPress 2.7 Coltrane, a bit disturbing.
Well I can live with all the others five reason why I should upgrade to Coltrane (in fact, I already used Coltrane) but the final reason, now that sound very awkward.
I believe I had talk about this in one of my post as a response to Dave Naffziger findings.
Why would search engine penalize blog that not using Coltrane? Coltrane or WordPress not yet define or become the de facto standard on online publishing. If Coltrane does define the standard of online publishing then it have to fight with Google Doc and similarly to other online publishing tool.
While I had upgrade my blog to Coltrane, what about other? Will they be penalize for not doing so?

Why is #6 an awkward reason? This info is straight from the developers of WordPress. Maybe they got some misinformation.
