The Next Problogger Only Knows Only Small Thing.

by Hamdani Amin on December 9, 2008

When I wrote about the next niche market in blogging will be politic, technology and entertainment, some of my friend were not surprised and some a little bit surprise.  But one good question poised by my friend, Hamid;

” I don’t think so since I am blogging in the same market but this is so overwhelmingly large that we cant refer to this as a niche. It already is too huge, although I agree that these are the markets in which people now a days spending so much time in”

The keyword – huge and time.

Between the huge factor, time and making everything to small and digestible

I love to read about , in fact I had listed almost all his posts about marketing at one time.  In the most recent, a good word from my friend, Ir. Aziz Ismail,

“You need to focus on only one area, so you can become the best in that area. You can’t be everything”

Well, more or less. But that would be the intended message, and this what we called cornering your market and creating your own niche.

Let some of the example.

Blabrmouth.com

You could find so many blog on politic that represent either left, right or no way (most likely, just a rambling rant).  Robert are not excluded. But he listened to his readers’ and make a focus approach.  Now it all about politic. Of course there is still some rambling but already put to bare minimum.  I like to think his sites as more like boing-boing for politic.

Mintywhite.com

Everything and anything about firefox, and Vista; from tweaking and beautiful wallpaper.  I had not yet see other thing than those mentioned here.  He could go hand to eye with PCWorld.com but for what?  Nowadays, people what something fast and now.

mywifeQUITherjob.com

Information about and retelling from personal perspective.  You can visit entrepreneur.com, but how many actually really experience the process.

Haven’t found your niche market?

These three website decided they want to focus on what areas they want to focused.  You may still looking for your niche market and while you’re, perhaps some of this articles can help you gain some perspective:

This three articles will guide you through but you have to make your own action.  As a final thought have you found you niche yet.
