We already talk about idea drought, and yesterday I wrote about “The Black Holes Syndrome“. What happen if you suddenly have an ideas surge? All of this ideas suddenly fighting between each others to get your attention begging to be let lose at your blog front page. Let look at the possible scenario (not in chronology order).
Scenario 1: Pick the best one
If you have trouble in term of selection, just ask the magic mirror. In this case, the magic mirror is you. Mirror, mirror on the wall, which ideas is the best of all? You’ll know the answer.
Scenario 2: Number and dice
Say you have 12 ideas. Assign any number, say odd and even number. This will be your groups set. One set of even and one set of odd. Now you have one set of 6 posts each for odd and even group.
How do you determine the sequence, say for Day 1? All you need to do is just throw a dice. If it’s even then choose from even group and vice verse.
How do you choose which post? Again, just throw a dice. But before you that, assign any number to the available post (e.g. 1 to 6). So if you get 6, than select 6.
You can repeat the same process, for next day post or the next couple of days. I know this method a bit complicated, repetetive and boring but it’s work. But if you don’t want to this, you can always try the last option, which is the easiest solution.
Scenario 3 : Flood gate approach
Just post everything. Further more, each post will ended at the front page also.

I like the combination of number 1 & 2 most.
It always good to write all of your ideas and choose just 1-2 of the best that you think and also post randomly another 1-2 posts because you never know what’s best from your reader’s perspective.
