In response to latest blog post by Problogger, I think it’s best to look from the angle of the person who are hosting the blog carnival and how to be a responsible blog carnival host.
What is blog carnival
I think Wikipedia define is at best:
A blog carnival is a type of blog event. It is similar to a magazine, in that it is dedicated to a particular topic, and is published on a regular schedule, often weekly or monthly. Each edition of a blog carnival is in the form of a blog article that contains permalinks to other blog articles on the particular topic.
How to be responsible host
First, You should not put off making the big post or procrastinate until the last minute and the last couple of days. You should work on the post piece by piece – gradually before the submission date. Be a smart and responsible person.
Second, You should at least try to finish the big post one day ahead.
Third, You should try to delegate the job where necessary and don’t forget to check on the job or spend a couple of hours to do that.
Fourth, be ready for every thing and every condition.
