Alexa Baby, Totally Crapped Over Here.
I still use Alexa for my web stat. I think most of webmaster still use Alexa if not as a stand alone, with another web stat tools. At least I still use Alexa as a stand alone web stat until yesterday.
I found out this post about Alexa and Compete that compared them both side by side against 5 website that is Techcrunch, Arstechnica, Cracked, Wired and The Onion.
From the post, I had learned the following:
- Alexa stop counting social media traffic.
- The result when compared between Alexa and Compete, look like at the very opposite.
- You should not rely on Alexa as a stand alone web stat.
However this might be nothing new to other, but relying on just one tool as your web stat might not the best option.

yeah you are right Alexa only help that people whom using Alexa toolbar not to everyone. Not everyone knows there rank. When they add this toolbar in there browser then they know about it. Daily lots of people comes on my site but alexa didn’t calculate them so it looks cheap.
