You have tried all the possible actions I mentioned in marketing strategies for your blog business, and you had Darren Rowse latest post on marketing your blog.
Today I want to talk about uncommon way to promote your blog and increase your blog subscriptions
Most of the talk about promoting your blog target at post by post and most of it online. Having received a spike in visitor over my post about Mrs Sarah Palin, I think not much thought had been given to offline promotion.
Let me describe 5 offline promotion that I engage in.
1. Network Marketing Or Conference
Don’t just bring a business cards next time you go to network marketing but also bring some large 4.25 by 5.5 inch advertisement card for your blog that include a call to action to get prospects to your blog. These will stand out in a pile of standard-sized business cards and people are drawn to reading them.
On this card you can print out one of your best post excerpt and add some striking sticker telling them how to sign up and free gift at your website.
2. Co-registration
You could promote your partner website on your offline marketing material in addition to encouraging people to sign up for your blog on YOUR blog. You could partner with others who offer complementary, not competing, services and each of you list the others blog on your offline marketing material. This is what I call fusion marketing and this method already help porn industries even used in the latest election campaign.
3. Direct Mail
Send a post card to your target audience but it NOT cheap and FREE. If you doing it right you could see an increase subscriptions to your blog.
4. Association Mailing
Associations are always looking for new material to give their members. You can offer to write an article for their membership (or re-purpose one of your own blog post) which includes a call to action to bring them to your website or blog.
5. Stick It On
Why not create something sticky, like a car sticker that you can give away as free gift? Or you can stick the community centre or where ever possible and of course allowable.

I really do like the idea of combined blogging. Allowing more than one blog author to participate on the same site. I see huge value in it.
