Six Dangerous Wordpress Plugin That Can Get You Ban From Google Adsense.

Wordpress is an excellent blogging tool and had been used by million of blogger as blogging software. Wordpress functionality can be extended and monetized through wordpress plugin. For many blogger, monetization of wordpress is done via adsense, selling of text link or ad button at their blog.
I had compiled a list of Adsense plugin that may violate the Google Adsense Policy.
- AdSense Attachment Plugin. This plugin show attachments with thumbnail image, and when you click on it will show image in full size. You can setup plugin not to show image in full size if you want. The plugin works to display your attachment images in a stand alone page filled with AdSense ads. You may ask how this violate AdSense TOS, well first of you can’t display non-content (this mean pictures only) page filled with nothing but ads
- AdSense Click Safety. The idea is to prevent you from click on your own ads. The plugin replaces your publisher id to something else (which is not yours) and thus should you accidentally click on the ads, it will not be counted as yours. This is not good for you as AdSense said that you can’t modify your ad code.
- AdSense Manager. The problem with this plugin is that the developer included his AdSense code as well and will display his codes x% of the time. Google have banned his account and efforts to clarify the source of the problem reach a dead road. The main reason I believe is because you are displaying AdSense codes on pages/sites that are not yours and you alternate the code with others. To AdSense, this is suspicious, how your codes get displayed on thousands of blogs?.
- AdRotator. This is a nice plugin if you want to rotate different ads network on your blog. So, lets say you got 3 advertising network, AdRotator is good to randomly go thru each/multiple network on the same space. I don’t have concrete evidence but I think you could be violating the Adsense Term Of Use. 3 advertising network at the same spot would translate into direct competition to Adsense. Don’t you think so?
- AdSense Beautifier. This plugin will automatically add pictures to your AdSense codes to make them more beautiful. Images beside ads do increase the CTR (click thru rate). This plugin was ‘ok’ to be used once upon a time. But now, Google AdSense have said, no images near AdSense codes.
- Adsense Sharing Revenue and Earning System. Author AdSense Plugin is designed to share AdSense impressions/earnings between the admin and the authors. This is similar to No. 2, you’re displaying your adsense code on website/pages that is not your. My suggestion if you want to do advertisement sharing program try Author Advertising Plugin. This plugin can perform similar function but not confine to advertising only but also for other purpose.
If you aware other plugin that will get you into violation of Adsense Term Of Use, please let us know by adding in the comment. It is important to keep all of us here updated with Adsense Term Of Use and ways that can get you banned from adsense.

That is not correct. Using multiple ads at the same location is common practice and accepted by the industry including AdSense. Check the TOS if you are in doubt.
In fact even AdSense recommends you to use A/B and multi-variate testing which is essentially testing multiple ads from the same location. Google Ad Manager allows you to do the same for free these days.
What AdSense prohibits is using multiple CPC ad provider at the same time on the same page. Even there AdSense is much relaxed these days. Ask your AdSense rep if you are in doubt. However please don’t spread FUD and please don’t blame AdRotator plugin for providing an useful service for free.
Please verify with AdSense before making such statements.

I agree that potentially any adsense plugin could violate the Adsense TOS if used incorrectly or in a malicious manner, Author Advertising could certainly be used to break the terms of service although I have done everything I can to try and discourage it (restricted amount of ad placements etc). I encourage anyone thinking about ad sharing to try and create their own ad network and that way you won’t be breaking any rules and adsense will have no problem with it..
